My dad's friend told us about $PFFA a preferred stock fund he's been buying. This kind of stock is supposed to be pretty safe investing in the preferred shares of various companies for the purpose of income. Preferred shares have higher seniority than common stock higher liquidation preference in a catastrophe. You get less price upside but more current income.
