Once youre insulin resistant and your body is producing excess insulin to compensate (with or without diabetes) losing fat becomes incredibly difficult even with significant calorie restriction and exercise even setting"

"@TheCAThomas @DrPlantel aside the obesity comorbidities that make enough exercise challenging (eg osteoarthritis reduced cardiac function etc.) The way GLP-1s GIPs etc. work is they both reduce the hunger impulse (lower caloric intake) but also increase insulin sensitivity and decrease insulin"
