Sound operational reasons why it couldn't be & done & these demands were robustly batted away But then in those days the Service Chains of Command were in control of the housing stock which is there for the use of a disciplined service personnel & families communitiesnot grifters vagrants migrants or ppl with ASBOs following them around"
