"Block rewards was a big cut but runes price has been far more stable (especially on downtrends). Would rather the price remains stable and the people who enter as a Node are not here for massive money (but that could be a side effect). Rather instead because they like the style of earning income (Nation-State less) and see stability over the long term both in income and RUNEs value versus BTC. "The trust in the system was ultimately relied upon the validators and staking participants. They didn't have the capital to redeem 13BN++ in outstanding liability. The big problem was the market itself broke trust. This wouldn't have happened if the UST could have been swapped for LUNA faster luna's exogenous price wouldn't have had time to devalue as fast market would have still had faith and most of the UST would have been redeemed in time and facilitated luna / ust liquidity. Once the market lost trust the end was inevitable"
