"Rent a Tesla with FSD or get an extended test drive and drive it first with her going out to lunch dinner etc and other things she likes to do. Then let her go into the Tesla center to ask questions and see her options - they are super helpful. Finally she can try herself with a Tesla employee or with you or both. That should help. "If you have a Tesla with FSD and are close to him that is the easiest way. Pick him up and do things with the car. He will get to see it is reliable and only then have him try driving it. Lean into the features like grok being able to set the destination in the nav. He just has to push the Grok button and say the destination and then tap the FSD button and brake to start. Overriding is simple - just put the car where you want and FSD disengages"

"Good question - The overall performance package includes a lot of extra features other than just a fast 0-60 time. Bigger wheels. Premium paint colors toe hitch. Much better down force & upgraded suspension and better bucket seats with power extendable thigh support and a more premium vegan leather. Plus my dad is a car guy he used to race cars and was a car mechanic. He never spends money - but on cars he does. A Model Y performance just feels like him and more quivalant to the BMW [--] Series he is trading in. For others it wouldnt be the right choice because they dont care about those extra"
