"Heres why I dont like to be in crowded trades. When a stock gets hot FOMO buyers pile in with leverage and bid up the price in excess. This can work in the opposite direction too. When traders get scared they dump or get called on their shares and plummet the price in excess. Youre seeing that now. And at some point its a buying opportunity. Margin use has been increasing like crazy. Thats why the stocks swings are getting wilder. Just be in high conviction trades have a longer time horizon and keep some money aside for the day-trading itch. Weekly and monthly charts are better than daily."
