"Sure Someone (let's just say the President) does something. Others think it may be illegal or unconstitutional. They sue. A judge (any judge) files an opinion (injunction) based on their interpretation of the law (the Judiciary's literal job). The president says I don't like this ruling. He appeals. It goes to a higher judge. Wash rinse and repeat until it possibly reaches the Supreme Court. If they choose to hear the case they have the final say. Or they can just agree the lower courts were right. This is the legal constitutional process of checks and balances on the Executive branch. Hope"
