I can confirm the card was paid for and that we have not seen a jump for a 1/1 like this in recent sales history. "Card #3 from the Iconic Sy Berger @Topps features the first Negro League MLB player Hank Thompson of the New York Giants. The colors on Hanks card are vibrant and the photo along with redback versions really pop. Hank played with the Kansas City Monarchs along with the St Louis Browns and NY Giants. He fought during WWII as a machine gunner at the Battle of the Bulge. After leaving the Army in [----] He returned to the Monarchs. Larry was not only a great pitcher for the Giants but a proud father of [--] children. He must of had a great sense of humor as he is shown holding up seven fingers saluting his children. A very cool early family man tribute for history. With five [--] win seasons only arm troubles halted his career. Fred starting playing professionally after being discharged from the US Navy in [----]. He was with several MLB clubs from 1949-1956. After retiring from baseball he had a long career as a postal carrier. Man wouldn't it be cool to talk to guys like this about where this photo was taken. "Probably one of the more interesting cards early in the [----] @Topps Set is card #9. Bobby Hogue was definately not a major star but this pin stripped NYY was a WWII US Navy Veteran who pitched well enough that on August 20th [----] he and another player were called up to the big club.His Baseball career didn't amount to much as he retired midway through the [----] Season after being traded numerous time. Bobby worked for the Miami Herald news paper until his death in [----]. BTW the other player he was called up with in [----] was Mickey Mantle. Today we again salute the amazing artwork on the card"

"Card #6 in the [----] @Topps set features a Texan who's playing career spanned from 1946-1960 playing with several different clubs. Grady was there in the beginning of the Houston Astros early days and saw alot of baseball per MLB becoming an active scout for the Giants in later years. This black back copy is a work of art showing vibrant colors. As many other players featured in this cardboard archive he also served in the military during WWII. The backs of the ballcards always contain alot if information of the early years of the players career. While stats were put together by Sy Berger by scouring box scores and almanacs these cards along with artwork will stand the test of time and are the collectibles that drive our passion and hobby. "I was just at the Gas station pumping gas in my tank at $2.79 per gallon and I looked at the screen and suddenly the price changed to $3.70 per gallon. I was like wth When I complained to the attendant he said the station was bought by @PSAcard and they just upped the price per gallon with no prior notice. "A walk through [----] @Topps Set today features HOF and Alabama native Monty Irvin #26. Monty was an early African American player that transitioned from the Negro Leagues Newark Eagles. Monty joined Willie Mays and other HOF legends displaying all [--] Tools. Monty served our nation in the US Army during the Battle of the Bulge which left him with hearing damage. "Just a few moments ago I received a call back from Congressman @BrianTJack office regarding an email I sent a few months back concerning the @PSAcard monopoly. They assured me the issue with increases in grading fees with no advance notice was on their radar and they have been actively working on the concerns internally. I also explained what took place with raising the fees overnight with no notice and the pending letter to the @federaltra83775 already in progress. We have been really shafted as shops and collectors its time we keep the heat on and make a difference in the Hobby"

"What a FIND @CardPurchaser Today we had a walk in collection from a repeat seller of vintage Pokemon. The collection for the most part was sleeved and many were top loaded. With over [---] VINTAGE HOLOS from the Sabrina's Gengar to multiples of Mews and Ancient Mews along with Black Star Holo Promos. This has to be one of the cleanest untouched collections as the owner of these gems passed away over [--] years ago after being a long time dealer of early Pokemon. We will be posting a live video later on as we have been slammed sleeving close to 1k 1st Edition and Base Set cards along with Vendings"
