"Unicoin launched in 2015 was the first ever charitable meme coin. It was backed by UNICEF and clothing company H&M. The coin features a unicorn in an attempt to appeal to kids. Titled "the first currency dedicated to do good" the Unicoin was a currency with proceeds directly going to help children in need. Together with their parents children were able to upload a drawing on a campaign site showing what they dream of becoming when they grow up. Then they exchange it for a Unicoin to support every childs right to early childhood development care and pre-primary education. It is the first meme"
