"Meshaal was a traitor to the Resistance Axis he was kicked out of Damascus after Syria had given Hamas refuge - rightly so as he enabled the Muslim Brotherhood insurgency and allied with Al Qaeda against the Syrian people including in Yarmouk Camp. From 2017 Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah worked to reconcile Hamas with Damascus Meshaal was sidelined and replaced by those loyal to the regional Resistance Axis led by iconic figures like Shaheed Yahya Sinwar. "I am seeing many so-called expert-on-Syria accounts on X now distorting what happened to the Ansarullah/Yemen embassy in Damascus in 2023. At the time I was living in Syria and in touch with the Yemeni/Ansarullah Ambassador and his colleagues. At this time Russia was pushing Assad to pivot to Saudi Arabia and UAE. Saudi Arabia was blackmailing Assad to close the Yemeni embassy so Saudi Arabia would provide humanitarian aid to the Syrian people living under sanctions or unilateral coercive measures since the beginning of the regime change war in 2011 - hugely increased under the first Trump"
