"No the cap on those losses have come from taking higher quality setups based around HTF key-levels. That's helped me experience trades where there's more momentum and probability for price to move in my direction. "Today the second trade I faced was similar to one of the trades I took on pre-NFP day. Stuck in a range price was going up to a key level. I went long on both trades. On Tuesdays trade I believed price would shoot through the level and hit my TP before reversing. Today I placed my TP before the level was tapped. The issue I have is some of these people will act like they're geniuses by pushing their ways of defining liquidity (FVGs and OBs) as the way. If you told them you used horizontal lines or boxes to define pivots they'll look at you and go "that's not how you define liquidity". The price action is much cleaner today. "For Transparency: Since I began my day trading journey a little over two years ago I've spent a total of $10.7k (which includes software subscriptions and education). Prop firm related costs total $8.78k. Since October I've covered 26.7% of those costs. In terms of my total spend I'm nowhere near breakeven. I still have a long way to go.
