The liver doesn't have pain receptors so by the time you feel something dysfunction is significant. Those symptoms come from liver enlargement (hepatomegaly) putting pressure on surrounding structures and referred pain patterns. When your liver is congested with fat inflamed or struggling to process toxins it swells. This pushes against the diaphragm and rib cage - that's the right-side tightness and shoulder pain (referred via phrenic nerve). Bloating happens because bile production and flow are compromised which wrecks fat digestion and causes gas buildup. Other overlooked liver" [X Link](https://x.com/Skinfolder/status/2021219069710512161) 2026-02-10T13:45Z [---] followers, [---] engagements "Longevity influencers bombarding themselves with botox and recommending bogus supplements. Your mucosal barriers- respiratory tract gut lining urogenital tract - are your first line of defense. Before anything gets to your immune cells it has to cross mucosa. Vitamin A maintains the integrity of these barriers by regulating epithelial cell differentiation and mucus production. Without adequate retinol your barriers break down and pathogens walk right in. The part that makes this so terrifying is where the damage happens. It's almost always the brainstem - the tiny bridge between your brain and your body. Everything above it still works perfectly. You think you feel you understand. But every signal your brain sends to move speak or breathe gets cut off right at that bridge. Most cases come from a stroke hitting the pons - a specific part of the brainstem that carries all motor commands from brain to body. The artery clogged once and it can - again. Restenosis - re-narrowing inside the stent - happens in 10-20% of cases within the first year. This is backwards. Systemic DHT levels don't correlate well with hair loss - plenty of guys with sky-high DHT have full heads of hair. The real issue is local scalp environment. When blood flow to the scalp drops (chronic tension in the galea aponeurotica sedentary lifestyle poor posture) you get reduced oxygen and nutrient delivery to follicles. That hypoxic environment upregulates local 5-alpha reductase activity - converting more testosterone to DHT right at the follicle and in general less estrogen at most of the scalp. "True. Other overlooked liver"

"Balding ISN'T a sign of "high DHT." This is backwards. The causal chain: poor scalp"

Combined with castor oil's ricinoleic acid - which is a potent anti-inflammatory that increases prostaglandin E2 at the follicle - you're simultaneously halting miniaturization deepening the follicle root and increasing blood flow to the dermal papilla. That's the trifecta: lower local DHT reduced inflammation better perfusion. Add a"

The trade-off is controlled by estrogen timing. Bone age X-rays are supposedly the "gold standard" for predicting growth potential but they're not that accurate. Perfectly fried food in fresh tallow is metabolically different than perfectly fried food in soybean oil. You feel exhausted but blood work looks "fine." Standard serum B12 testing is garbage. You can have "normal" B12 (200-300 pg/mL) and still be functionally deficient. "This works best in specific contexts: - Heavy training losing 500-1500mg sodium/hour in sweat - Low-carb/keto insulin drops kidneys dump sodium (this is "keto flu") - Fasting same mechanism no insulin means sodium excretion A pinch is 200-400mg. If you're actually depleted you might need 1-2g daily (1/2 tsp) spread out. https://twitter.com/i/web/status/2019130111736340837 https://twitter.com/i/web/status/2019130111736340837"

"True but if magnesium isn't working for your anxiety - check B1. B1 deficiency mimics magnesium deficiency perfectly because they're a "functional team" in the body. Magnesium blocks NMDA receptors (reduces excitatory signaling) and activates GABA (calming). It also breaks down cortisol and adrenaline. But B1-dependent enzymes need magnesium to convert glucose into ATP. Without adequate thiamine your cells can't make energy even with sufficient magnesium. The tell: you feel worse after eating carbsbrain fog anxiety spike fatigue. That's failed glucose metabolism"

"There are few explanations sometimes its a mix of few unfortunately. Too much glutamate is pulled out making you actually low on glutamate which causes anhedonia. Some research also shows that NAC reduces dopamine release with fast MAOA it can be quite annoying as well. In people that dont eat enough molbydenum could also be slight sulfites toxicity from NAC so replenishing molbydenum solves it. Another issue is NAC's chelating impact it can pull heavy metals. I wouldnt recommend to take NAC as solution for high glutamate however it works for some but it never solves the core issue."
