"@be_and_holl @Sherefname Akrd is the plural of "kurd" in arabic same as atrk is the plural of "turk". It's a broken stem plural which is a grammatical feature in arabic. But the word "kurd" has no root within Arabic because the root k-r-d does not exist in Arabic. So no Kurd does NOT come from Akrd"
