I was told by a former head of @TwitterIndia that there was an algorithm glitch whereby each day my followers were going up by [----] on average but the total count was dropping each time or remaining unchanged. However my posts on the subject and letters to @X have gone unanswered and there seems to be no serious effort to remedy this.
