"Good point and youre right its not a guarantee. If long-term yields stay elevated or rise due to inflation fears or weak demand for Treasuries it could mute the benefit of Fed cuts in the short run. "Hi Dog Dad I think $SCHD is built to stay solid over the long term. Dividend growth is baked into the screening process its not just chasing yield. Sure there may be slow periods but with screens focused on strong fundamentals like cash flow low debt return on equity and consistent dividends I dont see how it doesnt produce solid dividend growth yield and appreciation over time"

"Hi Dog Dad I think $SCHD is built to stay solid over the long term. Dividend growth is baked into the screening process its not just chasing yield. Sure there may be slow periods but with screens focused on strong fundamentals like cash flow low debt return on equity and consistent dividends I dont see how it doesnt produce solid dividend growth yield and appreciation over time"
