He said the secret was to buy a set of Gretsch Strings and put them on his Telecaster. So the extra [--] strings meant he strung a High E a B and then another B instead of the G. We'd play our gigs and then go for "Nips & chips" which was their signature burger (a version of Salisbury steak) and homemade fries.
