"well said. prediction market notional volume is different from effectuated volume just like perps. if a pm platform shows $20m notional the actual traded volume is probably closer to $13m -- roughly a 1.5x ratio. perpetual futures follow a similar pattern. you might see $10b notional while the underlying capital that actually changed hands is closer to $400m2b depending on leverage distribution and turnover"
