Multiple cats are being helped by various animal rescue organizations, including Animals Are Forever Inc. and Animalkind Inc. Many cats are being saved from the NYC ACC (Animal Care Center) kill list, with efforts to adopt, pledge, and rescue them. One notable success is the rescue of "Sneakers", a cat who was saved from the NYC ACC and is now with Animalkind Inc.
