"Tbh Redis Cloud sucks. Sure AWS & others are eating their lunch but they should first try providing a good SaaS offering instead of propping up their bottom line by relicensing. i.e. Dragonfly KeyDB Aiven and Upstash only exist because Redis Cloud isnt cutting it for customers. (Some of those are only RESP compatible but still customers choose them over Redis.) BSL is a more reasonable and AWS-resistant license would have been a better choice imo. "Having worked with Vultr extensively on many projects in the past their abuse resolution is a bit of a joke. Abusers frequently rotate IPs by shutting down a VPS and creating a new one but the Vultr abuse system only reports the current holder of the IP at the time the report is handled. Usually the person holding that IP is not the original abuser. Any time Ive rented a handful of servers from Vultr in the past I get a slew of support messages accusing me of abusing the service and threatening to shut down my account. Pretty quickly created a default response to copy pasta telling them"
