Israel has conducted a series of strikes against Iranian targets, including the notorious Evin prison, the headquarters of the Basij, and the IRGC internal security command center. The Israeli government has stated that it has reached all of its goals in the operation, and national security experts have assessed that the geopolitical landscape after XX days of fighting is one of significant military success. Iran has responded with missile launches, including a barrage of missiles shortly before a ceasefire was set to take effect, leading to a violation of the ceasefire and promises of a powerful Israeli response.
