The Jamaican government is vigorously pursuing the collection of taxes from tech companies, such as Meta, that are not paying into the Jamaican government's coffers. Additionally, the government is seeking to assure Jamaicans that it will supply water to approximately XXXXXXX citizens who currently have limited or non-existent water supply if the Jamaica Labour Party wins the general election. The economy and water supply are major concerns in the lead-up to the September X general election.
