The US government is taking significant steps towards regulating and integrating cryptocurrency, with President Trump signing the GENIUS Act, a legislation establishing a regulatory framework for stablecoins, and expressing support for the crypto industry. The SEC has approved several crypto-related ETF applications, including the Bitwise Crypto Index ETF, and has also delayed its decision on Franklin Templeton's spot XRP ETF. Major financial institutions, such as Charles Schwab and BlackRock, are also moving into the crypto space, with plans to launch bitcoin trading and add staking to their ETFs.
