"I see a lot of comments about USC being soft. I didn't see it that way. I thought USC's players played their butts off last night they just aren't as good as Notre Dame. Their DL and OL didn't quit like we saw in 2017 they just got whipped by a better group who played outstanding. I gained some respect for the USC players last night it's just that they aren't on the same level as Notre Dame and haven't really been overall as as program for awhile"

"Notre Dame's offense has not come close to playing to its full potential the last three games against Boise NC State and USC . not arguable. Yet the offense averaged XXXXX yards and XXX yards per play. That's during their slump. Think about this that would rank 31st nationally in YPG and 21st nationally in YPP if that was their season long average. This offense has set a bar that is far greater than past units and when they really start clicking . wooo boy this thing is going to be fun to watch"
