For example we dont see the price go up on YMAX due to an ETf group paying into it. "Agree 100%. issuer risk is a real problem in the finance world. Many institutions have rules in place per client demand to not have more than 5-10% exposure of one issuer / obligor/ ultimate parent / parent. For retail folks the diversification might be different due to the size of the investment. For example I chose $YMAX as it presents the broad exposure of all the issuers funds. Even though HY-wise Im 100% in the issuer Yieldmax the single-stock diversification of $YMAX helps me mitigate the single-stock risk that Im worried about at the moment"

"Not concerned like the typical redditors. The fund is doing what it is supposed to do; providing maximized income based on the implied volatility of its underlyers. One of the issues of the fund by nature are the high-IV stocks it plays. Their prices fluctuate a lot like leveraged movers they go up heavy not all at the same time but go down heavy together when uncertainty strikes the market.
