"Massive chunk of real estate in WA/OR are currently under a Flood Watch. They are going to see an Atmospheric River impact them for potentially up to XX hours straight. Again SW BC impacts are not set in stone yet. Expect heavy rainfall tomorrow and lasting into Tuesday at the least. Vancouver's Local Mountains are likely going to see at least 100-150mm of rainfall in this storm. But it's the WA Cascades and WA Coast that will see rainfall amounts well north of 200mm over the next X days. I have the next X days off so Storm chasing this event is an option for me. Except that dragon stretches from Guam and the Phillipines across the entire Pacific Ocean and aimed at SW BC WA and OR. There are good and very beneficial Atmospheric River Storms that we see. They are what provide us with a lot of our annual rainfall. The West Coast as a whole averages over XX of them per year. But then there are bad and hazardous ones that cause a lot of flooding and damage. Unfortunately the incoming one is on the hazardous side. This one won't be beneficial at"

"Yes. While WA gets hit harder this time. The North Nooksack will still feel this one on Thursday being on the Northern side of the Storm like SW BC. While I wouldn't be expecting anything close to November 2021 type issues. Definitely keep tabs on it and follow the BC River Forecast Centre and Emergency BC for updates. Anything can happen with how much rain is on the way and a 2500m elevation freezing level. Media will be more focused on areas further south in WA. Not much coverage will be shown for the Sumas area.
