"I hear you. Hard sci-fi is rare in TV and film for the very reason that its hard science. That has a limited audience appeal. Space opera or space fantasy is thus far more common. But I look at Denis Villeneuves Dune and David Goyers Foundation as strong examples of harder sci-fi right now. Both are worth your time if you havent seen them yet. Foundation isnt a literal adaptation of the Asimov books because the first three of those are largely middle-aged men sitting around talking about math and economics. Most of the action (such as it is) takes place off-page in between short stories. But"
