"Highguard devs could learn something from Bungie and how they handled Marathon. If Marathon launched in its earlier state it would have been DOA. Instead of writing a long post gaslighting fans and content creators Bungie went back to work and made real changes based on player feedback. They added proximity chat. They made solo queue viable. They adjusted time to kill. They reworked healing. They improved UI clarity audio feedback and overall readability. These things should already have been on the list to be added/improved (yes).
