"Amazon Layoffs: $AMZN is reportedly planning to reduce 14000 managerial positions by early next year in a bid to save $X billion annually according to a Morgan Stanley report. This initiative is part of CEO Andy Jassy's strategy to boost operational efficiency by increasing the ratio of individual contributors to managers by at least XX per cent by March 2025. "Change in thesis on Trade Desk ( $TTD ) from bullish to neutral Yesterday I spent some time understanding the recent biggest threat to Trade Desk i.e. Amazon DSP business segment. With recent deal with Netflix Amazon DSP is now a formidable competitor to $TTD. Attached is a quick overview of Amazon's Ad business and how it is competing against $TTD. In light of this new competitive threat I am changing my thesis from bullish to neutral. Means keep the position size small. However I am not selling the current position. "Added a new stock to my portfolio today. Chinese New Energy Vehicle Company - BYD Auto ( $BYDDY ). It is a starter position and still keeps overall exposure to Chinese companies X% of portfolio. Its products primarily target the growing mid-priced mass-market segment in Chinas passenger vehicle market. The company sold about XXX million passenger NEVs in 2024 accounting for XX% of the Chinese passenger NEV market. It had been on my watchlist for months but was expensive. Now it hit my price target so added it to portfolio"
