"Interesting topic here. Borderlands has never given better dedicated drop rates for higher difficulties in any game. HOWEVER in past Borderlands games you got better loot in harder difficulties; OP8 gear mayhem XX ascended etc. Ive seen a lot of people frustrated by this. I dont think Borderlands X needs to give players higher dedicated drops at higher difficulties but I do think the frustration stems from a larger issue in that players dont feel rewarded for turning up the difficulty levels. With no dedicated UVH5 loot players are not finding a justification for cranking the difficulty"

"So no. If you only chart BL3 (pic 1) the numbers dont mean anything all it displays is when were people most interested in BL3. Check the chart below for Matcha (pic 2). You will notice they both hit XXX interest aka when they peaked. However if you plot two things you can see how they compare with relative interest based on how high these peaks were (Pic 3). So comparing bl3 to Bl4 you can see that their relative peaks of interest are wildly different since bl3 was a much more popular search"

"Gonna be honest I dont know if buffing drops rates is really the solution here. The thing is the drop rates feel entirely different depending on what you are farming. For example I farmed the hellwalker for a perfect godroll for about an hour and half before I got the exact roll I was looking for but thats because the hellwalker has very little part variance. It doesnt drop with licenses parts so there are very few permutations of the hellwalker. So there the drop rates felt great. However Ive spent days farming for a godrolll Bod and havent even come close even tho I got a phosphene bod. The"

"How to fix it: - Implement a true vault switch in the vaults for X players scaling - add additional big encore machines so that there is X in each region a week - implement UVH X exclusive farms - legendary enhancements can world drop in other tiers but can be dedicated farmed in true vaults on UVH5 - enable the Goredello event as persistent content and increase the rounds from 3-5. Make this the eridium farm - buff the amount of XP gold and eridium from weekly wildcards and give them a manufacturer allegiance so that all loot from the wildcard drops with tediore parts that week etc. I know"
