"Today's "Odd Tank" is Brazil's 'EE-T1 Osrio P1/105' Developed by Engesa in the 1980's the EE-T1 Osrio main battle tank would have two versions one with a 120mm gun for export and a second version armed with a 105mm was intended for domestic use. The 105mm armed version was intended to be cheaper and less advanced than the export 120mm armed version. The main weapon is the 105mm L7A3 rifled gun. The tank was powered by a 1050hp MWM TB XXX V-12 engine and the it had a top speed of over 70km/h. Note the pictures include the P1 prototype armed with a XXX and EE-T1 Osrio's equipped with the 105mm"

Imagine blasting a tank and seeing chunks get ripped out of it where you actually shot. The game Starbase (which sadly seems to have died) had such a damage model system and it was pretty amazing"

"Today's "Odd Tank" is the American 'T30E1' Built in the 1940's this prototype heavy tank would largely be the same as the T30 with the exception that it had an semi-automatic assisting loading mechanism as opposed to manually loading the gun like in the T30. Other notable changes would be a higher profile commander cupola a shell ejection port at the back of the turret and finally the gun would automatically position itself for loading after firing.
