"The Septuagint wasn't a Bible like we think of Bibles today. it was as I understand moreso a collection of books and writings. that included scriptures we hold to as scripture. for example I think the Septuagint even included books like the book of Enoch which is not in any Bible we see used today. . not even the Roman Catholics bible . except maybe the Ethiopian Bible"

"I don't think you can pinpoint a moment in time like Luther did to help bring out the Protestants. But you have plenty of issues that came with the Roman supported church. When was the first time they referred to leaders as "father". sprinkled infants. came up with the term "pope". it morphed from there. that line are RCC. around the time the EO morphed in their direction. you have to admit they are distinct. that is a split. but even those two do not account for all that called themselves Christian. just the power of the Roman empire backed the RCC"

I can see chocolate on a child's face and in his or her teeth but can tell you for certain - without knowing/pinpointing the exact time - that that child ate chocolate cake. . similarly I can see teaching that are unbiblical in the RCC and know it splintered away (call it slowly blobbed away if you like) from scriptural teaching. If I ask you to pinpoint EXACTLY when the Protestants came into being. will you say EXACTLY when the nail hit the XX point to the door. or was it developing just before that .or"
