"Patrick Surtain is the best CB in the NFL and AJ Brown beat him in the 1st half. But then the Broncos went to a lot more zone coverage and Brown was blanked (except for X more slant against man coverage). Players beat man and scheme beats zone. The Eagles have the players. They don't have the scheme. Again I have no idea why any team would play any defensive snap that wasn't a 4-man rush with zone coverage behind until the Eagles figure out how to beat it"

"Michael Carter was an awesome corner in 2022/2023 but injuries have seen his play tail off since then. He is a slot CB not an outside CB so either the Eagles plan to move Cooper DeJean outside or they just value having a backup slot more than having Metchie as a backup WR. I lean toward the return of Darius Cooper making Metchie expendable more so than the Eagles planning to move DeJean outside. Overall good move because they basically gave up nothing for him"
