"I never noticed this until today. Even FINRA's Daily List Event for the "Addition" of $MMTLP was backdated I haven't checked maybe it's common practice but the date and time of the Event was 10/6/21 @ 9:27. But the Effective Date was 10/6/21 @ 00:00:00 (the zero hour)"

"FINRA lies repeatedly While the $MMTLP Corporate Actions written by FINRA didn't say anything about short positions needing to close. The actual "Corporate Action" the process of exchanging a publicly traded OTC security that spent months on the Threshold list due to FTDs for a non-tradeable non DTC eligible security DID COMPEL SHORT POSITIONS TO BE CLOSED. This is why multiple brokerages planned to force liquidate short positions after 12/8 and why others planned to only allow "Position-Close Only" transactions after 12/8. FINRA and the SEC made a choice to ignore obligations to deliver"
