"Went to the bank to withdraw some cash and go get pizza from Papa John's today here in Columbia MO. The government building area was blocked off because unbeknownst to me there was a No Kings Protest scheduled here for some reason (Happens to be on the same road as Papa Johns a bit further down). I couldn't see how many people were at the protest but it was basically only white people that I saw mostly older (50+). I saw only a few people of Arabic origin and that person had a No King's sign with a Chibi Trump balloon and a Palestinian flag"

"Well I don't think that thinking about if something is good or bad for Rust's reputation is a good approach. I like to think more about whether or not a tool is right for the job. In this case Rust was fundamentally incompatible with what the project was doing that makes Rust bad for the project. Not that the project itself was bad"

"You might want to revisit what the OP's post said. He said he usually avoids OOP (As he prefers Functional Programming) but showcased that UI is a great use case of OOP for him. So not only are you wrong about people's definitions mattering because people like "influencers" can poison the well with misinformation to get juniors and beginners on the bandwagon for a language or paradigm. But you are also wrong about what OOP is fundamentally"
