"@GraemeDownieMP Immigration/Work VISAs are RESERVED to WM. There are loads of qualified welders/engineers in Scotland I'd say well over 10k in all. Babcock hiring people from overseas means the UK gov sanctioned it. It looks like Babcock may be offering 10k short to attract Scots welders too"

"@iain4546 @GraemeDownieMP I could be wrong but it looks like Babcock were offering 10k less (34k) than average Scottish welder rates (44k) and UK gov sanctioned VISAs for foreign workers to do the jobs cheaper. That's the union bonus working for you"
