"Vinay has clearly pissed off some powerful interests that are paying to cast him as a left wing loonie to the conservative base. This only works if you have been living in an igloo with no internet for the last X years. VP has excoriated the policies of the prior administration to such a degree that he is hated by the entirety of left wing medical twitter and was the target of multiple left wing efforts to have him fired. He has always been critical of the pharmaceutical industrys influence on the fda and medical guidelines. A stance that aligns with much of the MAGA base. Agree or disagree"
