"These purity tests are tiresome. They already shipped two L2s Polygon zkEVM and Katana. However the market has spoken that they prefer to continue using the lower-cost PoS chain. Polygon team has all the technical ingredients necessary to make the PoS chain a true ZK L2. However there are many real reasons this cannot be rushed. One of them is the proving cost which needs to come down a little more before the transition can happen without affecting the cost to the users. It will happen. Questioning Polygon's alignment to Ethereum is pure comedy"
