"The broader CEE region is pivoting towards multipolarity - Hungary Slovakia Czechia. These countries are small (add all their GDP and population up and it's still much lower than Poland). So the US and EU 'allows' it for now. Romania wanted to do that too but they are the 2nd most important CEE country in the EU after Poland.
