"Not such a great argument. It will not be the way you envision it. Human nature. Folks won't do anything. At some point the number not doing will exceed the "free money" and the resulting inflation from such a system will make the "universal basic income" insufficient. at which point the politicians will call for an increase in UBI to "fix" the problem (but the problem isn't how much UBI it is UBI itself so throwing more money at it will only make it worse). Eventually there will be insufficient money to continue raising the amount and the entire silly idea will go away (as it should)"
