"Yesterday we at @DuskFoundation released Rusk v1.2 our latest protocol upgrade: It ships with Piecrust v0.28 delivering a 2.3x performance boost in VM execution time for blocks with 8-16k contracts deployed on our network. This doesn't increase TPS directly but it frees up headroom reduces block building time and helps us scale the network more sustainably as the state of the network grows. Since we use Merkle trees the cost of mutating state eventually plateaus. Now that baseline cost is significantly lower giving us more room to grow and maybe even increase the gas limits further down the"

"Native issuance is actually easier from a technical point of view because integrations with other exchanges/brokers requires order routing. In the case of native issuance we do the public offering on-chain. It technically works similarly to an ICO. And order routing is not required as you can do trades on the blockchain directly. And all the assets already exist within the ecosystem. This is not the case for wrapped/tokenized assets"
