Like it's most clear with the Houthis right As far as I can tell the options for the US are (1) shoot down some but not all of their missiles and absorb the rest (2) bomb Yemen overwhelmingly and continuously (3) occupy Yemen (4) capitulate. However expensive #1 has been I think most US officials prefer it to the other options. Like by all means we should be honest about interception rates. But I don't see what the implications are except "build more interceptors and try to improve them and make them cheaper""
