"OPINION:Im CURRENTLY a believer that Pokmon Champions will be used for VGC 2026but then after GenX releases the main VCG will switch back over to that. I think TPC had a what are we gonna do with VGC in 2026 problem and champions was already a battle sim they were making. I think they thought this could be something to spice up VGC instead of having a fourth year still on stale SV formats. I think theyll test and see how Champions does and then decide to see if they will keep it as its own circuit in 2027 and beyond. If its successful maybe it will become the new VGC format if its not then"
