"The Treasurys TGA buildup to $800B is definitely pulling liquidity from the system as it absorbs bank deposits which can tighten conditions despite the Feds easing signals. The drop in RRP balances to $352B from $2T+ in 2022 suggests money market funds are finding better yields elsewhere reflecting ample liquidity overall but the Fed may still force-feed liquidity into the system. However the TGA growth could strain short-term funding if it accelerates potentially prompting Fed repo ops to stabilize rates. Seems like it'd be easier if they just coordinated"
