"put a finger down if. a well known publicly traded company asks to connect because you seem to have a ton of experience in the meta they're pursuing and then you sit on X calls with them sharing feedback and insights for them to say "hey you should apply internally we'd love to have you and we'll fast track you and bypass hr shenanigans" and then you do and go through X rounds of interviews for them to say "hey we feel its a great fit you'll hear from us soon" and then they ghost you and then finally come back and say "oh sorry we hired someone else" has this ever happened to you"
