"If we really want to get serious about the economy (and poverty equality and saving the planet) theres so much we need to understand better - issues like productivity and investment as two of those as well as the mechanisms around money creation the bond markets etc. Anti-poverty campaigning is centred around the social security system for example but in many ways thats just the top layer.
