"If youve got Amex Taj vouchers lying around you might want to recheck their expiry dates. Was doing my routine check on my Amex Taj vouchers a few days back to keep track of expiry dates using this link on Tajs site - π Went to Card Balance & Reload Entered Voucher & PIN and it showed the balance + expiry date. Now heres something interesting I found for one of my vouchers the Taj website showed an expiry date of 10th Dec 2025 but the original Amex email said 15th Nov 2025. π€ I checked with Amex customer care they confirmed that the email date (i.e. 15th Nov 2025) was correct. The voucher"

"With Mariott Bonvoy the thing I've seen is while you can transfer MR to MB 1:1 the MB value fluctuates a lot and can even go as low as Rs. 0.3/pt. And that's where it gets tricky. Maybe the property offering a great redemption rate is somewhere you don't even want to travel"

"Crossed 1L lifetime Edge Miles recently with my Axis Atlas Card about XXX years since I got it (April 2024). β Easily one of the best value-for-money cards Ive picked up. Already maxed out 2025s Group A capping on Jan X this year π
and sitting on enough miles to hit the 2026 cap the moment it resets. Might need to bring in another card for Accor transfers looking seriously at the HSBC TravelOne now π"

"Just tested @CRED_club's new credit card milestone tracking feature and heres what I noticed π Its showing a spend-waiver milestone for my Swiggy HDFC Card which I actually hold as LTF. So clearly they dont have that context. Then on my Axis Atlas the spends shown on CRED differ by over 1L compared to what the Axis app shows. Same with EPM Ive spent far more than what CRED is tracking. There are also untagged spends which basically means CRED is tagging each transaction applying its own logic for exclusions and ignoring what it cant classify. π¨This confirms what I initially thought. The"

"Finally got my HSBC TravelOne Card π But man what a ride this has been. Ive been an HSBC Visa Platinum holder and was trying for X weeks to upgrade to TravelOne. Every single time I called the agents said - Sir well arrange a callback from the card application team. No one ever called back. Turns out they thought I wanted to apply for a new card. π Today I lost it and asked them how can an "upgrade" process for an existing customer be so cumbersome The agent finally goes Oh sir you want an upgrade We can do that directly I was like "Bro Kannada me bol raha tha kya main"ππ π€¦β One simple"

"Dont plan your vacation around your hotel points balance. Let the destination choose the stay not the other way around Once you get into the credit card and miles world your hotel stays naturally start revolving around the usual names - Marriott Bonvoy Accor Taj IHG etc. After all theyre the go-to transfer partners across most credit cards. But honestly Ive always liked exploring beyond these chains. There are plenty of destinations where none of these mile-friendly hotels even exist and Im not someone who picks a travel destination just because a transfer partner property is available there."

"After spending XX days in Europe over the last year across France Spain the Netherlands Belgium Germany Austria and Italy Ive realised how much a structured plan can simplify travel. Earlier I had shared a Schengen Visa Checklist with 500+ people and the feedback was incredible π Many found it super helpful in cutting the chaos that comes with first-time travel and even skipped the consultant route to book visa appointments. So Im now working on a Europe Travel Starter Pack a set of clean practical templates designed to make trip planning easier and more structured. π§³β¨ Itll cover the"
