"Worth noting real estate is a matter of national security in most countries (particularly here in the States). The price of price collapsing is too high for the USG to allow that (especially with Baby Boomers retiring en mass). So waiting for apocalypse pricing is likely a fools errand. Also house ownership is more about leveraging equity than value accrual IMO"
