"Honestly they were killed a long time ago for many reasons. When rates get lowered down to X% those people are not going to be much better off. Maybe less credit card debt interest on short-term money but if bonds react violently and long rates stay pay or even go up they're not going to get a better rate on a house it could even be higher. You also kill the baby boomers who have been saving their whole lives and once again will get nothing if they save their money in a bank. If we're getting X% in a money market like Trump wants and then inflation stays at XXX currently.we're back to losing"
