"As @TheVivekSinghal Sir says always invest a maximum of X% of your capital per stock. Now suppose all five of your selected stocks are part of your portfolio and lets assume each one goes down by XX% 😵📉 .even then the total impact on your overall portfolio would be just 7.5%. And as far as I know most traders usually keep at least a XX% stop-loss anyway 🛑💡 So we can easily afford to have a few patience-testing stocks in our portfolio . its all part of the overall trading plan 🧘♂📈 So no stop-loss. "🔍 Note: In case of HDFC Life. Earlier a Cup-with-Handle (CWH) pattern had formed at the top but the target wasnt achieved. (See chart attached) 📉 Thats exactly why we usually avoid CWH patterns that form near all-time highs.
