"The college football coaches that have been fired were considered some of the top in the sport when they were hired. Now they are gone & the schools think they can get someone 'better'. From where There are far more openings than proven coaches. Texas A&M hit a home run with Elko after the dumpster fire of Fisher. But not every coach from a lower-level football program will translate to running a major football power. There will be a lot of hiring good coordinators & promoting from within the program out of necessity & desperation. I feel good knowing that any of these teams know better than"
